Albanza Women’s Conference Leads Women to Jesus

While sowing seeds of the Gospel, we never know for sure if or when those seeds will bear fruit, and seed planters don’t always have the opportunity to participate in the harvest. But as an update to the May Women’s Conference in Albanza, PNG, Debi Berk reports that the seeds sown in the Spring are now being harvested, just three months later.
The conference last May involved six area churches of all denominations and many unbelievers attended. A group of women who were not a part of any church gathered at the back of the conference venue and kept to themselves. Some said they were ashamed because their teeth were stained red from chewing Betel Nut (a mild narcotic).
Pastor Jerry from the Albanza church reported that after the conference he began a women’s Bible study as a follow up and the women who did not attend church began coming. During this study, 20 of those women accepted Jesus as their personal savior and are now in classes to prepare for baptism!
Praise God that He uses everything to bring the lost and hurting into fellowship with Him!
