During KNU’s Winter Break from semester classes, 313 elementary level Korean children descended upon the campus to enjoy the 6th English Camp hosted by KNU. The dates of the camp were January 14-26, 2008. Camps are held twice a year (during summer and winter breaks).
Twenty foreign English teachers and twenty teacher’s assistants (KNU students) comprised the teaching staff for the camp. Also, ten staff members were on site for medical and dormitory assistance. The 300+ children were housed in the KNU dormitory rooms.
Classes and activities included: English journal time, sports activities, cooking, scavenger hunt, movie, flea market, talent contest, etc.
