KNU Participates In South Korean Higher Education Forum

In November, Dr. Abraham Im, president of Korean Nazarene University presented a paper at a forum on Higher Education at the South Korean National Parliament Building. The topic for consideration was advanced education especially for mentally disabled students.
This was the 2nd forum of this type to be held in Korea, and it was sponsored by Kyung-Won Na, chairperson for “Children�”We Can” in Korea. Na is also a member of the Korean National Congress.
Korean Nazarene University is the first institution of higher learning in Korea to address the issue of advanced education for mentally disabled students. KNU was awarded for being best in the area of rehabilitation education on November 14, 2007. It is one of twelve universities in Korea to be awarded the “Great Reward School” by an association of industrial companies, city government groups, and a research center.
