WMDVD Re-Ignites Passion For Mission

Those were the enthusiastic comments of Violy Lartec, Philippine Field Communications Coordinator, after showing the latest video releases from World Mission DVD to several churches in Northern Luzon.   

Violy admits it was her first time to promote the WMDVD amongst her churches, so she wasn't sure what to expect.   So she started with a group of church leaders from the Pico Church, in Baguio City, by showing them a video about our denominations new mission statement .  Violy reports, "they responded with cries of prayer! Their passion to make disciples was again inspired, their commitment to make disciples was renewed, and their faith that they could disciple disciples was ignited." 

After watching the mission statement video, the group then previewed the film "From the Dark," (about a Columbian drug cartel member who miraculously found Christ and immediately began winning his former gang members to the Lord.)   Following the film and a closing prayer all of the pastors asked if they could buy copies for their own use. One of them ordered 10 copies!

Violy experienced a similar positive reaction when she showed the WMDVDs to the Luzon Nazarene Bible College students during a chapel service. The students were inspired by the short videos highlighting the wonderful things God is doing around the world through His church.  Most of the students wanted to know how they could get their own copies.
