"Today at the hospital site I counted 65 men in attendance during the morning devotions which are done every day. We have been blessed with the men working so well to complete the task at hand. We feel that the devotions and morning meetings have helped with the information so that guys understand what is happening," rejoices Michael Chapman, NHM Project Manager.
Through text and photos, Chapman explains in his latest project update that the Heduru Contractors are making good strides. They have hired ten more men this last weekend and moved the work performance to 12 hour days.

Chapman himself has taken on the sewage install with a crew of eight men working with him everyday. Part of the building process has also been a vocational training opportunity for many of the PNG laborers. Chapman has been holding class with the men each day teaching them to lay block.

The covered side walks are starting to take form with concrete the roof joists. As roof joists are being put on the beams between the surgical ward and maternity ward it is really taking shape. The Maternity building is the first to come to completion and it is now about 85%. Men are installing the flooring now and as of today are about 75% done with the flooring. In addition, three crew members are busily completing the Volunteer house so that the hospital can use the building for volunteers.

"Praise God, the project is taking better shape every day!" concludes Chapman.
