The Fairbanks International School of Communication (FISC), in partnership with World Mission Communications, Asia-Pacific is offering a new multimedia certificate course, utilizing some leading Asian media professionals as instructors.
This 3-month institute commences on August 1st and runs every Saturday
until October 24th. Participants will be able to pick and choose from
thirteen workshop titles, ranging from screenwriting, acting,
directing, video camera basics, short film production, video editing
basics, and special projects in film/video. Though FISC has been
offering a full Master of Arts in Christian Communications for the past
14 years through Asia-Pacific Theological Seminary, this is the first
time for them to offer such a comprehensive workshop that is open to
the broader community. FISC Director, Kwon Dong Hwan has been working
for several months with his Manila team to organize this institute and
they are anticipating a large turn out for these workshops. If you are
interested in more information about this workshop or the ministries of
FISC or WMC-AP, visit their websites for details.
