High tech facilities, dedicated faculty, creative students and a vision to "Communicate Christ...by all means possible," are the ingredients for a dynamic communication studies program at Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary in Manila Philippines. Under the direction of Professor Dong Hwan (Bill) Kwon the seminary has recently developed the Fairbanks School of Communications (FSC) to better facilitate the expansion of this program. And during it's start up phase, the FSC has been seeking partners to help purchase new equipment, provide scholarships for students and faculty, and sponsor communication conferences.
Recently the FSC was blessed with a very generous gift of $2,500 from the Sangamdong Church of the Nazarene of Seoul, Korea. Dr. Min Gyoo Shin and his congregation continue to be faithful supporters of our communications ministries on the region, particularly of our educational endeavors. In addition to this initial seed money, the Sangamdong Church has also pledged to provide $100 per month for the continued growth of the program. Besides continuing financial support for Prof. Kwon family's partial salary ($400) over the past three years, Sangamdong Church of the Nazarene is one of our most enthusiastic supporters of FSC at Asia Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary. All of us at APNTS, FSC and WMC-AP are so grateful for partnerships like this, which help us to equip Christian media professionals and develop relevant media materials.
