Paglalakbay Project Update

We are into partnership with Philippine Bible Society about a new packaging of God’s Word entitled Ang Paglalakbay (The Journey), a lasting product especially made for the Overseas Filipino Workers.

It’s a ministry promotion and we’ve got challenges on the way. We’ve submitted a budget request and a production script for the project. Guess what? God answered it as the PBS guys approved it immediately. On the other hand, we are moved to depict an authentic OFW experience. So, we requested the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) authorities for the airport venue thru a formal letter that we submitted to the Media Affairs department of NAIA. The official first reply came with forms to fill up and fees to pay. On top of this, we need to have a two week advance notice for the shoot schedule. Simply put, we can not afford to do it.

PBS Project 1

In this regard, we looked for other options but asked God to have a good place to have the shoot. Days passed and we tried to seek help from friends who could refer us to places with airport-like look. Winsor processed the Medical City request. Shalimar Tamayo promised to ask her aunt who is an officer in NAIA to help out. Captain Fagilagutan who is a Navy Commodore also promised to pull some strings.

Now we are running out of shooting days…

We already put the airport dilemma in the hands to God. In the nick of time, He has opened windows of opportunities for us to get the needed B-rolls of the airport for the project. The production team were given creative minds to adjust the script and capture the essence of the video project with a better perspective.

PBS Project 2

God does work in mysterious ways. To Him we give our thanks.

And to the friends we have in high places, may you be blessed because of your efforts in supporting God’s ministry.
