The
Philippine Bible Society (PBS), a member of United Bible Societies worldwide,
engaged the ministry of WM Communications Asia-Pacific on
Hazel
Salariosa Alviz and Aries Aguilar of PBS met with
WMC AP to lay the ground
works of the partnership in a meeting held last January 5 at the
WMC studio site
Jordan
Escusa of
WMC’s youth program Perfect Rhythm articulated the eight
60 second scripts which targeted the youth listeners. It talked about biblical
values such as integrity, purity, family, humility, prayer, and other
essentials. It was also produced in such a way that it relates to the youth of
today. PBS provided the initial scripts which were given the conversational and
youthful touch of the voice talent and the audio productions department, under
the direction of Emz Bolinas,
WMC’s Audio Production
Manager. The production in audio cd format shall then be distributed during the
press conference on the 18th of this month. And in observance of the
weeklong event, various radio stations shall play them on air.
PBS
will also generate other scripts for a different set of audience which shall be
played on air also during the Bible week event
Activities
all throughout the week include a bible quiz, art workshops, youth forum,
livelihood & health seminars, storytelling, bible discussions, and the
‘Rock the Word’ concert
In
the ‘Rock the Word’ concert, you will hear famous bands and youth personalities
live on stage as they share their lives and testimonies about the Word of God.
