53 youth and gayut (young at heart) alike made an RSVP to the 1st Perfect
Rhythm Grand EB Event held at the WM Communications Studio last Friday,

I can describe Perfect Rhythm (PR) in two words: Astig! This was blurted out by one of a girl fan of Perfect Rhythm program when
asked what PR is for her. Obviously she’s describing the program in her
youthful twang as she keeps in mind the English translation which in two words literally
means outrageously cool! Like her, all the other people in the audience
were in high spirits to see it live. Local bands like Green Pastures and R.O.C.K.
(Reaching Out for Christ the King) treated the audience with Contemporary
Christian Music to speak to their own generation. As a finale, Ichthus band, the grand prize winner of
the acclaimed Globe Kantabataan Song
Fest shared a series of original and contemporary renditions which earned
them the title.
Aside from being a live recording and bonding time, the particular listeners were able to experience and become aware of how the radio program is made right here in the house. They also became aware of the program’s history and radio stations, its long list of male hosts, and its fairy god-mother host in the person of Emily Bolinas “ the OIC and Audio Productions Manager of WM Communications Asia-Pacific.
“Jordy” (as one of the listeners use to call the PR host) also shared the story of the paralytic in the Holy book as he spoke about “The Paralyzed Generation” and what we can do about it. As paraphrased from his message, we can do in unity and in faith what we strongly desire in our heart to help our friends see Jesus in this age and time.
Making the event more memorable was the presence of the
whole Christian Catholic family who are avid listeners of PR. They are Fidel
Castro (not the Cuban President), Mark, Mia, Paul, David, Paulen, and Gene who
were continually blessed by the program. It also marked the launching of the PR
Listeners Club headed by Katrina Francisco of
Apart from specially designed shirts and fashion buttons from PR, True Love Waits and Praise Incorporated also sponsored the giveaways and prizes. For more of the details, kindly listen to the live recording which will be broadcasted nationwide in three episodes on 702 DZAS, Agapay ng Sambayanan. You can also eavesdrop on its podcast here at www. wmc-ap in the weeks to come.
Soon also, it will have its own website. The initial address would be www. perfectrhythm.fm. Catch the rhythm…the real alternative.
