WM Communications Asia Pacific joins FEBC’s Piso Para sa Radyo (One Peso for Radio) campaign. We registered as other people also lined up at the FEBC Philippines booth while it launches anew its Piso campaign as part of celebrating its 59th Anniversary of Radio Ministry last June 02, 2007 at the FEBC Compound. 702 DZAS as the Agapay ng Sambayanan asks Christians and churches to rally behind its ministry of blessing listeners with relevant truths and genuine service to the people and the whole Philippines as it dwells on this year’s theme: Paglilingkod na Walang Pagod (Service Without Let Up).

Pastor Ed Lapiz led the devotional on air as he speaks about the responsibility of the listeners to continue the ministry by supporting without let up also the institution through tangible blessings that they can share to the people behind the radio ministry. One of which is joining this Piso campaign.

It’s a unique way where listeners from whatever background can be a direct partner of FEBC’s radio ministry. Pastor Oca (not his real name) has been doing this for sometime now. He shared that people visiting him would not be allowed to go out without the encouragement of putting coins in the Piso Para Sa Radyo piggy bank. This year, he was challenged to add one more piggy bank to fill up for his church. As soon as it becomes full, these piggy banks then can be turned in any time to FEBC’s administration office.

During the anniversary celebration, FEBC Philippines also continued to recognize its radio program partners and contributors. One of which is WM Communications Asia Pacific (WMC-AP). It brings to its airwaves the programs Perfect Rhythm (PR) every Sunday at 8:00 in the morning, and Take 5 from Monday to Friday at around 3:00 in the afternoon. Jordan Escusa, the host of PR represented WMC-AP as he greets the radio ministry and the listeners during its live on air anniversary program held at the FEBC grounds.

Prayer partners were also encouraged to register with Ate Auring who leads the prayer ministry for radio at FEBC compound’s apartment #3 as close to 500 went to witness the anniversary program live on stage. In addition, ministry and commercial booths who are partners of FEBC Philippines were also set up all over the compound in order to bring awareness to those who came in person to support and celebrate.
