Multi-media messages or MMS ministry of WM Communications Asia Pacific found a new ally in the form of art evangelism. Artist missionary Dan Francisco and his wife Marlene of Acts 1:8 Ministries tied up with WMC-AP for utilizing artistic contents which communicate.  It was formalized through a simple signing of a Memorandum of Agreement on November 14, 2006 at the Acts 1:8 Home Office.

Dan has a unique calling “ preaching the Gospel through art. As the mission group’s artist missionary, he paints Bible events with passion, being equipped with God’s Word in his heart, always with the goal of connecting man back to God. His paintings are artistic expressions of his faith “flowing through his veins” as he executes visual interpretations of the Gospel and at the same time feed daily on God’s Word. Through acrylic paint, oil, pastel, and a combination of other media, Dan imparts the message of Christ.

“Each painting is scripturally inspired, showing the beauty of God’s Word, His purposes and plan for mankind, that aims to draw all men back to their Creator,” explains the evangelist-preacher.

The artist treats every viewer and art enthusiasts alike to a journey of Biblical truths from Genesis to Revelation, painted on canvas, offering hope and encouragement to the hungry soul and at the same time portraying the beauty of God’s promises to man. They are strokes of faith, blessed art representing the glorious God that Acts 1:8 Ministries serves.

The Red Sea Experience

With these paintings, subscribers of Globe through WMC AP’s partnership with Wireless Services Asia, will soon be able to download meaningful wallpapers, logos, and themes for their cell phones. These are part of the Memorandum of Agreement signed by Rev. Jun Suyat in support of World Mission Broadcast programs. They are in addition to devotional talkies and biblical texts contents that WSA and WMC-AP agreed on June 8, 2006.

The Empty Tomb

Dan is an architecture graduate in Far Eastern University. He later pursued pastoral and missionary work and now heads Mission Acts 1:8 Ministries, a para-church organization that distributes Bibles and conducts evangelistic outreaches for Christ.

To learn more about Acts 1:8, Dan and Marlene invites you to Dan’s upcoming art exhibit entitled “Love Overflowing” at the Enterprise Center Art Hall, Level 3 Tower 2, Enterprise Center, Ayala Ave. cor. Paseo de Roxas, Makati City on November 27 to December 9, 2006. The proceeds help finance their evangelistic ministry in partnership projects for the churches in Mindanao.
