As we celebrate our first 100 Take Five podcasts, We’ve been reflecting on the past and dreaming about the future. Take Five actually began ten years ago, as a radio program for various locations in the South Pacific and the Philippines. But just this year, thanks to creative people like Daniel Pape and Ricky Hurtado, and the production skills of Lenmark Santos and Emily Bolinas, and the script writing finesse of Jay Mijares and Naomi Miller…we have been able to go cyber with Take Five and three other programs. Somehow, this new medium has given us new life, new purpose. Our audience has expanded from a few island nations to the whole world wide web! We've already begun to see listeners and listener feedback increasing.
Our goal for Take Five is to really encourage our listeners in a practical way to live in better relationship with God and your neighbor. So, basically, the future (the next 100 episodes and beyond) are in your & in God's hand. Write to us at radio@wmc-ap.org, or post comments on our website: www.wmc-ap.org. I look forward to hearing from you, and to airing your ideas, stories and music on future episodes of Take Five.
