WMC-AP Website Goes Live!

On Tuesday, September 12th 2006, WM Communications Asia-Pacific celebrated the official launch of its new organizational website (www.wmc-ap.org). The celebration included a gathering of the WMC-AP staff, a countdown to Go Live, the sending of a launch announcement to partners, friends, and subscribers followed by prayer.

The website features many informational and social features including;

• Blogs with production diaries, press releases, regional testimonies, and more.
• Podcasts of World Mission Broadcast productions such as Take Five, Perfect Rhythm, and Life In A Minute.
• Image Galleries of WMC-AP events, productions, outings, and extras just for fun.
• Videos including promotional pieces, events, and projects.
• iBelieve Video Testimonies featuring individuals from the Asia-Pacific region sharing their faith in Jesus Christ.
• Portfolio which features an interactive look at the work being produced through WMC-AP and WMB
• WaveLink, the online version of our WMC-AP newsletter.
• Facilities Tour including 360˚ QuickTime VR views from around the studio.
• Staff bios and images.
• Subscriptions with which partrons can receive notifications of updates in content.
• Comments and Ratings throughout the site
• and much more

WMC-AP is thrilled to be celebrating in this way as it marks the growth of its Web Department, the youngest in the organization. Daniel Pape, a Mission Corps volunteer has been directing and developing this growing department since October of 2005. August marked the hiring of WMC-AP’s first full-time web developer in Ricky Hurtado.

In addition to the WMC-AP website, the web department has developed websites for World Team Philippines and True Love Waits Philippines and is continuing development for the Asia Pacific Regional Office, NYI Asia-Pacific, and Nazarene Mission International Asia-Pacific.
