Part 1

Good day friends, another edition of Life in a Minute, ihahatid ko uli sa inyo ngayon, I’m Emily.

Just very recently, na-confine yung husband ko, so I stayed in the hospital for almost a week. Madalas akong dumaan sa cancer department every time na pupunta ko sa foodcourt. Marami na tayong narinig na stories about people who have some form of cancer for years diba, without ever knowing it. Well, siguro a preventive medical exam is a good early detection means, para magkaroon din ng early prevention. Hirap yatang magkasakit friend, so dapat, let’s stay healthy.

Part 2

Madalas, hindi agad nade-detect kung may cancer ang isang tao. Meron ngang isang babae, akala nya buntis sya, only to know na tumor pala yung lumalaki sa tyan nya at hindi baby. Ngayon, usong-uso na rin ang breast cancer sa mga babae and prostate cancer naman sa mga lalaki. But don’t we also know na merong isang type of cancer that is just lethal, kalimitan hindi nada-diagnosed? Ito yung cancer ng bitterness at envy nating tinatawag. You might not know about it, pero parang cancer talaga itong kumakalat at sumisira sa atin.  

Check yourself friends, sana naman hindi tayo afflicted ng sakit na’to. I’ll be back for more of these thoughts.

Part 3

Hi again, this is the last part of our episode today, Life in a Minute pa rin, bringing you some healthy thoughts.

Sabi sa proverbs, “a heart at peace gives life to the body but envy rots the bones”. Totoo, minsan ito nga yung nagiging dahilan kung bakit may hirap ng kalooban at disappointed ang marami sa atin diba, meron kasi tayong inggit at bitterness sa puso. Pero alam nyo, instead na alagaan natin yung ganitong feelings, why not turn the pain over to God, para hindi lumalala ito like cancer. So friend, kung nasaktan man tayo, wag natin tong hayaang mag-grow, release it and find healing in Christ.
