Hello, its time to take a break, with Take Five. I’m Doug Flemming your host; and we’re brought to you by theToday’s Music: Stand, Bebo Norman
Mark Russell writes: It’s easier to complain than to cope. It’s easier to stay the same than to change. It’s easier to weep than work, whine than win. It’s easier to passively hurt than to actively heal. It’s easier to walk away than to walk through. It’s easier to sin than stand, retreat than run forward. It’s easier to be unfaithful than to keep promises. Friend, are you facing a tough decision or temptation? Are you contemplating the easy way out. Be reminded by the Proverbs: “there is a way that seems right or easy to a man, but its end leads to destruction.” Our world (your nation) needs people who will make tough choices, stand for truth and justice and keep their commitments regardless of circumstance. Choose the hard way today and you will find it is generally the right way.
